Crew22 · working with us

Tell us what you have built.

We have no advertised roles today, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Crew22 Pty Ltd was registered on 7 September 2026. What we do have is work coming, and a list we would rather build before we need it than after.

01

What this is, honestly

This is not a job ad. It is a form that puts you in front of us, so that when there is work the first thing we do is read what people have actually made.

What we do

We connect software that already exists

Australian contractors run several systems that do not talk to each other, so the same job gets typed in three times. We join them up so it only gets entered once. Civil, earthmoving, mining, main roads.

We also build our own product. CrewBase is a job management platform for earthmoving and civil, live on production with crews clocking on through it every morning.

Who we are

Two founders, a real trade behind it

Aboriginal-owned. Founded by Adam Perry and Clare Ballard. Adam spent fifteen years on the tools in civil, main roads and mines before any of this, which is why the software is shaped the way it is.

We are small and new. You would be early, with everything good and everything uncertain that comes with that.

The work

Integrations, and things that hold up on site

Joining one system to another and making the join survive a bad signal and a wet screen. TypeScript, React, Astro and Next, Supabase and Postgres, and whatever API the customer already pays for.

Our builds carry a 14 day guarantee, so the work is scoped tight and finished properly rather than left half done. That shapes how we build more than any tool choice does.

What we look for

Evidence, not adjectives

Something you made that other people used. It does not have to be big, and it does not have to have worked. A project that went wrong and what you did about it tells us more than a tidy list of technologies.

If you have worked in or around construction, plant, mining or trades, say so. It is not required and it is worth a lot.

02

The form

Four things we need: your name, your email, what you have worked on, and what you have worked in. One optional question after that, and a link if you have one. No resume upload, no cover letter, no account to create. Write it the way you would say it.

Tell us what you have builtOne copy · goes straight to Crew22

What it was, what you did on it, and whether it ended up in front of real users. One that went wrong and what you did about it is worth more to us than five that went fine.

Languages, frameworks, databases, the tools you have integrated. Say which ones you would be happy to be dropped into on Monday and which ones you have only touched once.

Are you of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin? (optional)

We ask because Crew22 is Aboriginal-owned and we want Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people building this with us. Answering is your choice, leaving it blank costs you nothing, and it is never used to screen anybody out. It is kept with your application, it is not published, and you can have it deleted at any time.

A person reads every one

We use what you send here to consider you for work and nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a list, and we delete it if you ask us to. Privacy.

03

What happens to it

3.1

Do you reply if there is nothing going?

Yes. You will get an answer either way. Being left hanging is the worst part of looking for work and we are not going to do it to anyone.

3.2

Who sees what I send?

It goes to one Crew22 mailbox and is read by us. We do not pass it to a recruiter, we do not sell it, and it does not go on any list. What we keep and for how long is written out in our privacy policy.

3.3

Why is there a question about Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin?

Because Crew22 is Aboriginal-owned and we want Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people building this with us. It is optional, "prefer not to say" is one of the answers, and leaving it blank has no effect on your application. It is never used to screen anybody out.

It is the only sensitive question on this website and it is handled separately from everything else. The privacy policy sets out exactly what happens to it, including that you can have it deleted on its own.

3.4

Can I have it deleted?

Any time. Email admin@crew22.com.au with your reference and we will delete it and tell you it is done. You do not have to give a reason.

3.5

I am a contractor, not looking for a job. Is this the right form?

No. If you want work done rather than to do the work, the enquiry form is the one, and it carries your numbers with it so the first thing we say back is about your business.
